In early 2025, the Marico River rose higher than anyone imagined and reshaped our lodge in ways we never expected. But true to the Jaci’s spirit - resilient, colourful, and deeply connected - we chose renewal over retreat.

We’re taking this time to rebuild with intention, honouring everything people love about Jaci’s while embracing a refreshed vision for the future.

Jaci's Madikwe House Bookings Open

Jaci’s Madikwe House will officially reopen for guest bookings from this date onwards. If you’re planning a festive-season safari or looking ahead to 2026, you can now secure your stay.

Our team is working hard behind the scenes to bring the refreshed Suites, Villas and Main Lodge to life. We’re aiming for a grand relaunch on 1 July 2026, with the possibility of an earlier reveal if everything comes together ahead of schedule.

Our redesign brings a contemporary calm to the bush: layered textures, warm earthy tones, thoughtful spaces, and an elevated sense of comfort. Every detail is guided by the colours of Madikwe - sunset oranges, marula greens, and rich natural textures.
It’s still unmistakably Jaci’s… just reimagined for a new generation of safaris.

Thoughtfully redesigned suites overlooking the river and bush, featuring private decks, sunken lounges, and calming interiors inspired by the colours of Madikwe.

Exclusive-Use Villas

Kubu Villa, Nare Villa & Jaci’s Madikwe House — our collection of private, three- and five-bedroom exclusive-use homes. Each offers its own pool, spacious living areas, and a dedicated team including a private chef, ranger, and front-of-house host.

Decks, Hides & Immersive Bush Experiences

Thoughtfully placed throughout the lodge, our elevated decks, water-level hides, and open-air sleepout spaces offer intimate, unforgettable encounters with the wilderness. Whether overlooking wetlands, gathering under wide skies, or observing wildlife from just above the water’s surface, these experiences are designed to bring you closer to Madikwe’s beauty in calm, meaningful ways.
