Planning Your Visit

Madikwe Game Reserve offers excellent wildlife viewing year-round. The dry winter months (May to September) provide optimal game viewing as animals congregate around water sources and vegetation is sparse. Summer (October to April) brings lush landscapes, newborn animals, and exceptional bird watching with migratory species. Each season offers a unique and rewarding safari experience.
Jaci's is located in Madikwe Game Reserve, approximately 3.5 hours' drive from Johannesburg and 1 hour from Pilanesberg. Road transfers can be arranged, or guests may drive themselves (4x4 not required). We also offer helicopter transfers for a more exclusive arrival. Detailed directions will be provided upon booking.
We recommend neutral-colored clothing (khaki, beige, olive) for game drives, warm layers for early morning and evening drives, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, comfortable walking shoes, and binoculars.
